Viña Santa Carolina

Viña Santa Carolina is one of Chile's most historic wineries: founded in 1875 in the Macul district (Santiago) by Luis Pereira, who named it in honor of his wife Carolina Iñíguez, it is today the flagship brand of Carolina Wine Brands (part of the Watt's S.A. agro-industrial group). Its manor house and cellars — begun around 1877 and declared a National Historic Monument — preserve a unique heritage character within the city, while its winemaking approach combines tradition and scale, producing wines from vineyards in valleys such as Maipo and other areas of the Central Valley, with a broad portfolio ranging from Reserva and Gran Reserva lines to higher-end labels.
